The Hebrew Solar Torah Calendar
How Yahweh’s Solar Calendar Works
The true calendar of Yahweh is based upon the solar year and operates on a perfectly consistent, unchanging cycle. Unlike the fraudulent lunar system that requires constant manipulation and adjustment, Yahweh’s calendar is fixed and immutable, reflecting the infinite nature of His commandments.
The Basic Structure of the Solar Year
The year consists of 365 days divided into 12 months. This is the foundation of the true calendar. Additionally, there is an intercalary day called Tekufah [abibix] that marks the spring equinox but is not counted within the 364-day cycle. This day stands outside the regular calendar as a marker and sign.
The calendar begins at the spring equinox, Tekufah (abibix), with Day 1 of Month 1 (Abib) starting the following day. The months are organized according to the four seasons:
- Spring: 3 months of 31 days each = 93 days
- Summer: 3 months of 31 days each = 93 days
- Fall: 3 months of 30 days each = 90 days
- Winter: 3 months totaling 88 days (or 89 in leap years)
Total: 364 days, which equals exactly 52 weeks (52 x 7 = 364), plus Abyb-1 = 365 days.
